Electric Vehicle

I gave a foreign expert report in an EV conference organized by the Governor of Henan. The talk, given in San Men Xia, is reproduced at SkySong in Scottsdale Arizona. I compare three cars in commercial sale in the US, and explain key factors for EV success, as well as how China may export EV to the US.

Electric vehicles today are expensive, heavy, short range, and inconvenient for recharging. We are designing the Monarch Electric Van to change the way we drive and fuel our cars.

We have designed the Monarch Solar Electric Van (Monarch SEV) for a new market: electric van for carrying goods and people, for food vending and other commercial purposes. It can run entirely on solar energy, using an innovative design to maximize the use of the vehicle surface to collect sunlight. Similar to the Monarch butterfly, the roof and sides of the car can open and track the sun. We are inspired by the Monarch butterfly, for its lightness, beauty, distance endurance, and efficiency.

We are currently developing the drive train, power collector, and energy storage system for the Monarch SEV. Stay tuned. The blogs and videos describe the technologies of electric vehicles, our understanding of the market need, and the evolution of our product.
